RSF and IMI to launch Lviv Press Freedom Center today

Today, March 12, at 3:00 pm, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and the Institute for Mass Information (IMI) will open a Press Freedom Center in Lviv.

The center will be located at vul. Ruska, 20, in the premises of the Lviv International Media Center.

RSF Secretary General Christophe Deloire, RSF Eastern Europe and Central Asia Head Jeanne Cavellier, IMI Executive Director, RSF Ukraine Partner Oksana Romanyuk and Lviv Center Coordinator Alexander Query will take part in the opening ceremony.

The Lviv Press Freedom Center will be run by the RSF and the Institute of Mass Information (IMI), a partner of the RSF in Ukraine since 2014. The center will be one of the sites where journalists will be able to get protective gear, there will also be several workstations with an Internet connection and shelter in case of a Russian attack.
