Related to SBU lawyer set sights into employment and taxes of journalist for "Slidstvo. info"
Dmytro Khodos, a lawyer with the SBU State Specialized Construction Department, inquired about the employment and taxes of the journalists of the investigative project “Slidstvo.info” Yanina Kornienko, after her publication on SBU’s activities. This is said on the website of "Slidstvo.info " "Development business under the control of the SBU", which was published on March 18.
In the story, the journalist spoke about the existence of the Specialized Construction Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), which is supposed to build housing for the service, but it functions "like an ordinary development business, including building sports fields, repairing sewers and renovating schools at sky-high prices." The investigation also spoke of debts, millions of violations and criminal proceedings of the SBU special enterprise.
The journalist said that the next day after talking to lawyer Dmitry Khodos, he wrote to her in a messenger.
"But I was not talking about the company's activities, but he set sights into how I paid taxes and whether I officially worked in the editorial office," said Yanina Kornienko.
The screenshot of the correspondence in the story shows that the man asked about the personal data of her colleague, as well as information about employment and taxes.
“And official employment, payment of taxes and mandatory payments? I hope you are officially employed? ” he wrote to the journalist.
