Facebook took down a fake account impersonating radio host, Hromadske Radio co-founder, and Commission on Journalism Ethics (CJE) Chair, Andriy Kulykov, following a news story by IMI, media expert Ihor Rozkladai, deputy director at the Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law, reported in a Facebook post and confirmed to IMI journalist Valentyna Troyan.
Rozkladai said he submitted a complaint to Facebook and attached the link to IMI’s news story to it. The fake account was removed roughly two hours later, the expert added.
As reported earlier, unknown scammers created another Facebook page impersonating Andriy Kulykov and used it to gather the contact details of Ukraine’s public figures.
