Powerful cyber attack impedes the work of Odesa.Online media outlet
On May 5, the editorial office of Odesa.Online received an email with a threatening message from representatives of the NoName057(16) hacker group, after which the publication suffered a cyber attack.
This was announced to IMI representative Odesa region by the media project's manager Vadym Tyutyukin.
The editorial office was warned that "your game is over." On the same day, a powerful DDoS attack began, which has been impeding full operation of the website for the second day in a row.
“We inform you that today, your russophobic and deceitful resource odessa.online was attacked by hackers from NoName057(16). Until you stop your malicious activities of discrediting the actions of the russian federation and inciting hatred against russian citizens on the pages of your website, your resource will continue to fall under our DDoS attacks!" the letter to the editors said.
