The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko proposes to implement extended reporting of non-governmental organizations instead of filing electronic declarations by civil activists. This was reported by the representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada, Iryna Lutsenko, in the broadcast of the TV channel "Rada", UNIAN reports.
"The President insists that the members of these civil associations, especially the anti-corruption activists, as physical individuals, not to undergo this e-declarations process, they will just have an extended reporting of non-governmental organizations, that will enable identification of what technical means, what money are used to finance what activities. And this extended reporting will show to the society what this money is spent for. I think, conclusions can be drawn from this", Lutsenko said.
Based on her information, such extended reporting of legal entities was approved by non-governmental organizations and activists.
As IMI reported before, on February 5, coalition of NGOs “Reanimation package of reforms” appealed to the parliament to cancel, as soon as possible, the discriminatory electronic declarations for anti-corruption activists.
