Police seized separatist newspaper in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Kherson oblast

In Dnipropetrovsk, police officers found and seized 96 copies of the newspaper «Novorossia». According to the press service of the prosecutor’s office, the newspaper contained calls to coercive change and overthrow of the constitutional order in Ukraine.

A criminal investigation was launched.

Earlier, on June 21, Dnipropetrovsk branch of the Security Service of Ukraine detained five persons suspected of proliferation of the separatist newspaper «Novorossia» in Kryvyi Rih. In the course of the investigation they found the supplier of the separatist newspaper.

In Kharkiv, the local branch of the Security Service of Ukraine seized 10 thousand copies of the newspaper “Novorossia” and components for Molotov’s cocktail from a local resident, who planned to disseminate the propaganda materials among locals.

On June 20, in Khersonska oblast in Nova Kakhovka the local branch of the Security Service of Ukraine detained two local residents, who received the separatist newspaper «Novorossia» from Donetsk and started to disseminate it.

In Poltava, police detained a group of diversionists, who planned to disseminate the separatist newspaper "Novorossia".  On them, they had not only the copies of the newspaper, but also plans and schemes of its dissemination.
