Police of Kremenchuk initiated case on harassment of journalists by park director

The investigators of the Kremenchuk police department (Poltavska oblast) initiated case based on parts 2 and 3 of Article 171 of the Criminal code of Ukraine based on the fact of harassment of the journalists from Kremenchuk due to their lawful professional activities, “Kremenchutska hazeta” reports. As the media outlet describes it, the case of harassment in question was posting on September 17 of the photos of journalists for public display in the landscape park "City garden", initiated by the director of the communal enterprise Vitaliy Dediurin. The names of the journalists whose photoes were so displayed (they represent newspapers “Programa Plus” and “Kremenchutska hazeta” are Oleksandr Kurylova, Doli Ruf' and Lina Romanchenko. The photos of the journalists were found on the cages of pigs, with inscriptions: “For the fault of these half-hearted journalists there are no roe deers, ponies, piglets, otters here”. The photographs were also posted all around the park, with text accusing them of facilitation of confiscation of pigs from the park. Due to this, on September 19 filed complaints about harassment for doing their jobs, covering the situation with pigs of Vietnamese breed. displayed in the park.
