Police investigates amber digger’s attack on Rivne journalist

An illegal amber digger hit the journalist in the hand and tried to take away her phone. Police opened a criminal case investigating this incident, reports “Chetverta Vlada“. As the media outlet reports, in June, near the village of Solomyr in Zarichensky rayon, one of amber diggers was obstructing  journalists’ activities, tried to take away their equipment and knock a phone from the journalist’s hand. Rivne-based journalists Dmytro Bondar and Inna Biletska, who are present at the side of the incident, did not file a complaint to the police. The police of Rivnenska oblast opened a criminal case under part 1 Article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“Obstruction to lawful professional activities of journalists”) on their own initiative.  Neither Dmytro Bondar, nor Inna Biletska have not yet been summoned to give their testimonies.
