"Pamfir" set designer Volodymyr Chorny killed in action
The Ukrainian artist who was a set designer for the movie "Pamfir", Volodymyr Chorny, was killed in action.
This was reported by his partner Olena Biletska.
"You volunteered to go there... dodging was not even an option... although the conscription office did not have your documents, they had lost them... You could have stayed... but you couldn't... couldn't stand aside when your home was under attack... You couldn't look away as they were killing and destroying... You calmly packed your things, showed me where you had hidden some treats for me in case I break down, and left..." wrote Olena.
According to her, Volodymyr found an opportunity to write short stories while on the front line, and was also taking care of abandoned animals.
The crew of the film "Pamfir" also reported the death of their colleague.
"Volodymyr Chorny, a talented Ukrainian artist, set designer for the film 'Pamfir', died in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Everything that you saw in the frame of the movie was made by Volodymyr's hands, among others. He was utterly devoted to his work, talented, tireless and loving," wrote colleagues.
