Occupiers disable Internet connection in Enerhodar amidst the "evacuation" – Mayor
There is a certain excitement in Enerhodar (Zaporizhzhia oblast) as the occupiers have announced the "evacuation" from the city, Mayor Dmytro Orlov said in a comment to Radio Liberty's "Novyny Pryazovia" project.
"They took the equipment from the healthcare department, the computers, the documents, the passport desk, which they placed at the CPAS. The droadband internet connection is no longer working, the grocery stores, the pharmacies are not working. There is a certain agitation around some types of products and necessities. Gas stations and ATMs are also empty," Orlov said.
He also added that the occupation authorities have been taking their documents away for several days, expecting the UAF counteroffensive.
As reported by IMI, in March 2023, the Russian occupiers replaced the sign at the ZNPP and brought propagandists to the plant. Russian propagandist Artemiy Lebedev was among those who illegally entered the city. For this visit, the SBU notified him of suspicion for justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants.
