Occupiers block Google services in Kherson region
On the night of July 23, the russian occupiers blocked access to the Google search engine for residents of Kherson region.
The so-called "deputy" of the so-called "Kherson military-civilian administration" Kyrylo Stremousov announced it this morning.
"At my request, the Google search engine has been disabled, same with YouTube and Viber," Stremousov said.
According to the collaborator, these services facilitate "information terrorism on the part of the Ukrainian authorities and their American supervisors."
Local residents confirmed the block of the search engine and its services to the IMI representative in Kherson region.
It should be noted that YouTube and Viber were blocked in Kherson region in early July, but the messenger's team managed to bypass the blocking. Viber is currently functioning in Kherson, albeit intermittently.
As IMI reported, on July 22, access to the Google search engine was blocked in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
