NV Business correspondent Artem Ilyin joins the UAF
In early June 2024, special correspondent with "NV Business" Artem Ilyin enlisted in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He did not report any details, asking his colleagues and friends to accept it as a fact.
He announced the "job change" on Facebook.
"I planned to make a long post on Journalist's Day with my musing on the role and the tasks of journalism in today's Ukraine. But it so happened that on this very day I changed my job. Now I am a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. I will not go into details," the journalist wrote.
Ilyin urged his fellow journalists and editors to "think carefully about information priorities in wartime" and added:
"They feed us well, the air is fresh, great career prospects. I feel supported."
