National watchdog called broadcasters to use 41 frequencies in JFO zone

The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting invites broadcasters to develop free 23 FM frequencies and 18 television channels (12 for analogue and six for digital broadcasting) шn the territory of the Joint Forces (JFO) operation, as the National Council reported

“Ukrainian broadcasters' programs can be broadcast on these frequencies to better provide citizens with the information about the developments in Ukraine. The National Council calls licensees to master new frequencies and fill the cities of Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions with Ukrainian content, ”the statement reads. 

This can be done under a simplified procedure, by obtaining permission for temporary broadcasting.

Frequencies in the following settlements are free, in particular:

Among the settlements listed in the tables, there are free frequencies in the village of Komyshuvakha, Luhansk region. This is one frequency for radio broadcasting and two television channels for analog broadcasting.

A new 150-meter-high tower in Komyshuvas will be put into operation on August 24. According to the National Council, the signal of Ukrainian TV and radio broadcasters will be more accessible not only to residents of Severodonetsk and Shchastyn districts of Luhansk region, but also to residents of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
