National council warned "Inter" for talk show featuring 12-year-old girl who gave birth

On November 9, the National council for TV and radio broadcasting announced a warning to the TV channel “Inter” for showing in two issues of talk show “It Concerns Everyone” on October 9 and 13 about the 12-year-old girl who gave birth, “Detector media” reports. The National Council considers these programs a content that can harm children. National council of Ukraine on TV and Radio Broadcasting also filed to the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on freedom of press and information policy some proposals on new, harsher and specific laws concerning protection of children.
