National council plans to cancel license of TV channel "Business" via lawsuit

National Council for TV and Radio Broadcasting will address the court with a claim on fining the TV channel Business (LLC “TRC “Pogoda TV”) and on withdrawing their license. The decision was made by the National Council during the session on October 19, Ukrinform reports. “An additional monitoring of the channel was conducted, and absence of broadcasting was established. We were not able to conduct an unscheduled inspection as we could not find any authorized representatives of the channel at the address indicated in the license. the penalty in amount 50 thousand 604 UAH was not paid, and no documents confirming its payment were provided. The National Council can address the court with a claim on annulment of the license of LLC “TRC “Pogoda TV”, the head of the national council Yuriy Artemenko commented.
