Ministry of Information Policy prepares list of anti-Ukrainian sites to close

The Minister of information policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets instructed the Deputy Minister of information policy of Ukraine Dmytro Zolotukhin to prepare a list of sites to be closed due to the fact that they threaten the information security of Ukraine.
He said this at a press conference, the Ukrainian News reported.
The Minister of information policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets said: "In the next two weeks, I would like to have it brought to the Expert Council under the Ministry of Information policy. I want the list to include media experts and public figures, the list of sites that should be closed".

In particular, the Minister pointed out site "Ruskaya vesna" as an example.
According to him, the list will be discussed with the Security Service of Ukraine and in the expert council.
Then MIP will seek for mechanism of their closure.
"There is one problem: no law in Ukraine does not describe the mechanism of how to react," - said Stets.
He said that most likely, the closure of sites will be provided through the courts.

Stets also stressed on the importance to predict changes in the law, to be able to respond more quickly to sites that threaten information security.
The Minister stressed that the advisory council - is the tool that should prevent censorship.
As Ukrainian News reported, Leshchenko fears that authorities is introducing censorship all along with information doctrine.
