Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine warns about attempts of fraud using its name

Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine warns about attempts of fraud by people that are completely unrelated to the ministry. This is reported on August 4 at the website of the Ministry.

“Lately, the Ministry of Culture and Informational Policy of Ukraine receives messages about attempts of fraudulent individuals to influence public procurement by institutions of the cultural sphere. The individuals who was identified as Dmytro Leonidovych Trokhymenko, calling himself “authorized person from the Ministry of Culture and Informational Policy” tries to pressure procurement agents to make them pick as the company he lobbies”, the Ministry reports.

The Ministry emphasizes that this individual is not related to the Ministry in any way. 

“The Ministry of Culture and Informational Policy considers it inadmissible to use the name of the central governmental agency of the executive by any individuals for their own benefit. Such actions can be defined as fraud дії and intentional discrediting of the governmental agency”, the message says.
