Lviv journalist, who revealed illegal land seizure, believes he is being persecuted

Lviv journalist Vlad Yakushev has been summoned to police under a suspicion that he allegedly threatened to kill Halyna Yarko, the subject of his journalist investigation. According to Zaxid.net, Halytsky rayon police department opened a criminal case based on the complaint from Halyna Yarko, who believes that a person that looked like Yakushev threatened to kill her.

Yarko filed her complaint when Yakushev was conducting a journalist investigation for ZAXID.NET in regard of Lviv park «Snopkivsky». In his investigation, the journalist uncovered the facts of illegal seizure of land of Snopkivsky park by owners of the building on Krymska Street, in which Halyna Yarko resides. 

The journalist believes that her complaint to the police is an attempt to thwart his investigation.
