«LPR» released Oleksander Bilokobylsky
On September 26, gunmen of Luhansk People’s Republic released journalist Oleksander Bilokobylsky, who had been held prisoner for two weeks in the basement of the LPR’s so-called Military Commandant Office in Zhovtnevy rayon of Luhansk. This information was confirmed for «Telekrytyka» by the journalist’s wife Ksenia Tretiakova. According to her, she had a phone call from Bilokobylsky, who told her he was released in the morning on September 26.
Those who imprisoned him were aware of the fact that he was a journalist as he had his laptop with him and they were able to look through his contacts and materials. Bilokobylsky was used in the so-called «corrective works» – he was loading sacks with sand. As Tretiakova understood from her husband’s words nobody negotiated for his release and he was released by LPR gunmen without any conditions. Bilokobylsky is retruning to Kharkiv shortly.
