Kropyvnytsky cameraman Volodymyr Chernyshov killed in action
Volodymyr Chernyshov, a soldier and former cameraman for the Kropyvnytsky media outlet CBN, was killed in action, CBN reports.
The editors told the regional representative of the Institute of Mass Information that Chernyshov had been drafted two months before and had started carrying out combat tasks in late July.
As of now, it has been reported that Volodymyr died from a mine injury during a shelling strike on Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk oblast.
Volodymyr Chernyshov was born on March 22, 1971. Studied at secondary school No. 32 and Central Ukraine Technical University. He worked as a cameraman for the channels Center TV, TTV, Inter, as well as for Viter TV (CBN) (2019–2020).
The date and place of Volodymyr Chernyshov's funeral will be announced later.
According to the IMI, Volodymyr Chernyshov is the 83rd media worker to die in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale aggression.
