Khmelnytsk: SBU blocks retransmission of illegal Russian television channels

Khmelnytsk region - SBU in cooperation with the Cyber police of Ukraine blocked the retransmission of illegal Russian television channels.

Law enforcers established that two local residents provided television services to clients using illegal serv. The prohibited Russian channels distributing anti-Ukrainian propaganda were included in this service package.  SBU officers confiscated special telecommunication equipment during the searches in houses of criminals: IP-receivers, TV-tuners and top boxes for receiving digital signal, server equipment, network switches.  

The criminal proceeding was initiated under Part 2 Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pretrial investigation is under way.
