Kherson acting Mayor cut off access to local media at computers of local officialdom

On March 18, during a meeting in the Kherson City Executive Committee, acting Mayor of Kherson Zoya Berezhna commissioned IT-specialists to disable the access of local officialdom to Kherson online editions at computers in the executive committee building. "Khersonski Visti " Internet-edition was informed about this by a municipality employee, who wished to remain undisclosed.
"Today Zoya (Berezhna - Ed.) talked very sharply about Kherson web-sites and called them garbage pits. She advised all those present not to read what they write on the Internet" - said the source of the edition.
The source believes that the reason for the response of Zoya Berezhna were the articles about her, posted at the web site of Khersonski Visti. The Internet-edition recalls that earlier Berezhnaya already stated that materials in the internet are inadequate and that the majority of voters do not know how to use the Internet.
