War correspondent Anna Kaliuzhna views the abusive messages she has been receiving following a post criticising the Ukrainian Armed Forces commanders as pressure and an attempt at intimidation, Kaliuzhna told the Institute of Mass Information journalist Valentyna Troyan.
“I know that in reality this is pressure and an attempt at intimidation in a nicer wrapper. But, given that the National Police ‘shoved’ the case involving real death threats and rape threats to me and my family, organised by the assault brigade No. 3 commander Kukharchuk off to a Mykolaiv oblast village and Kukharchuk himself has been promoted, what hope I have that this time the authorities’ response will be any different?” Anna Kaliuzhna said.

She added that she would post more screenshots and arguments as to why she believes the campaign was coordinated by the army unit, rather than being a matter of the servicemembers’ “personal opinion”, within the next 24 hours.
IMI is willing to present the perspectives of other parties mentioned in the news story.
