Journalists were not allowed at “field” meeting of parliament

On April 4, 2013, journalists were not allowed to enter the building of the Verkhovna Rada Committees, Glavkom reported.

Earlier, Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Rybak gathered deputies from the Party of Regions and the Communist Party for a “field” session of parliament in the building of VR Committees.

According to the parliament regulations, VR can meet outside its building only if the parliament made a respective decision. The only exception is the state of emergency or war.
