Journalists painted freedom of speech
On June 2, Kyiv journalists participated in Paint Freedom of Speech! action, organized by the Congress of Draughtsmen at the National Art Museum of Ukraine, with the support of the Institute of Mass Information. Action organizers invited the media to a visual discussion. Everybody could express his/her attitude to the situation with freedom of speech using paint, charcoal, or collage.
During three hours, journalists of online editions, television and the printed media turned to the society using a new form of expression. They painted on the walls and floor in one of the rooms at the National Art Museum of Ukraine. Some 30 Ukrainian and foreign journalists participated in the action.
The paintings will be available for public till June 18.
