Journalists denied access to area of disengagement of forces

31.10.2019, 16:20

The journalists are denied to get access to the areas of Katerinivka and Zolote-4 in Luhansk region, area where since October 29 disengagement of forces and equipment from the demarcation line has been initiated by Kyiv. This was reported by the TSN correspondent referring to the Joint Forces Operation HQ. The press could get access there in 3 – 4 days.

"For the moment, reports on decision or statement by the JFO headquarters on access of the journalists to the area of disengagement of troops, do not correspond to the reality. Until we can not see what is happening. This disengagement can be called "quiet", as the Ukrainian press does not see how the disengagement is fulfilled. And, in fact, we cannot say what is happening behind the Zolote chechkpoint", - the correspondent Ruslan Yarmolyuk said.
