Journalist violently beaten in Vinnytsya

According to the newspaper, the journalist was attacked by three stocky men, who knocked him to the ground and began kicking. Cries for help were heard by the neighbors, who called the police and ambulance. Taras Chornoivan is currently in the intensive care department of #2 hospital.

His preliminary diagnosis is a traumatic brain injury, broken ribs, bruised chest, dissection of the head and numerous bruises.

The journalist personally connects the attack with the release of the latest issue of Tarasova Pravda newspaper, which printed on its front page a satirical collage and a sharp material criticizing ex-MP Oleksander Dombrowski.

The Vinnytsya Oblast prosecutor’s office controls the course of pre-trial investigation into the infliction of bodily harm to the chief editor of Tarasova Pravda.
