Journalist, soldier Andriy Nikitin found dead in Dnipro

Journalist and soldier Andriy Nikitin was found dead in Dnipro. His sister Tetyana Latay announced this on Facebook.

“Andriy is no longer with us…. I will announce the date and time of the funeral later… Thank you to all the sniffer dog handlers, police officers, and all those who joined the search…”, the message says.

The IMI is looking into the circumstances of his death.

The search for Andriy Nikitin lasted for several days. His sister reported that on December 12 he left his parents' house and did not come back or get in touch after that.

Andriy Nikitin worked on Vidkrytyi TV and in the media holding Nashe Misto. He joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the summer of 2024.
