In Dnipro on March 13, a journalist with the online edition 49000 was not admitted to the press conference held by the head of the regional state administration Oleksander Bondarenko, as to 49000's website.

The press conference was held in the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and was dedicated to the presentation of the project of the new terminal of the Dnipro Airport. The General Director of Kharkiv Airport Volodymyr Vasylchenko also took part in it.

"At the entry, the security staff blocked the way to the journalist Oleksander KLimov and presented him the list of accredited media. Not finding the 49000 edition in the list, the guards said that they would not be able to let the correspondent in," - the edition reported.

Commenting on the incident to the IMI representative in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Oleksander Klimov said that he would not contact the police, as did not dispose of any evidence of the incident, he said. "If this happens again, i will file complaint. I don't know who is to blame for what had happened, but I was unable to make a report on an important topic of the airport. It can be considered as obstruction, because I do represent the mass media, which is used to criticise the governor," - Oleksander Klimov told.

The IMI lawyer Roman Holovenko commented on, saying that in compliance with current legislation, the failure to be accredited cannot be grounds for denying journalists access to the press conference in the regional administration.
