International observers are not allowed to visit Aseev who was captured in Donetsk

30.08.2017, 19:37
Journalist from Donetsk Stanislav Aseev (Vasin), captured by the armed group “DPR” in the beginning of June, is alive, and his release is being constantly negotiated. Ukrainian authorities engaged for negotiations international organizations UN and OSCE, but international observers were never allowed to meet the journalist. This information comes from the former MP, who studied in the same class with Stanislav Asev, Yehor Firsov, Radio Liberty reports. According to Firsov, Aseev is now in Donetsk “in the basement”. Recently he survived exacerbation of chronic pulmonitis. But his mother was allowed to visit him, and he got better. Firsov reminded that Aseev's pen name was Vasin. He is the resident of Donetsk who had courage to produce truthful materials that expose the abused of the militants in power - it is quite enough there to be taken to prison. Soon, he will receive some kind of sentence, probably for "spying".
