In Zaporizhzhia, TV channel MTM had to suspend its operation due to bomb threat

On December 9, in Zaporizhzhia the municipal TV channel MTM had to suspend its operation for almost three hours due to a call about a bomb in the building of Ordzhonikidzevsky rayon administration, in which the channel's editorial office is located.

The local police station received a call about a bomb from an unidentified man around noon. All staff and visitors of the TV channel were evacuated. They spent more than two hours and a half in the street outside the office. Due to the incident, two press conferences were canceled.

No bomb was found in the building.

In the last two days, December 9 and 10, in Zaporizhzhia such false bomb calls were made about the rayon administration, and the city and oblast councils.
