In Sevastopol, police officers detained the filming crew of Hromadske.TV – the journalist Tetiana Kozyreva and the camera operator Karen Arzumanian, who were televising live from a rally on Nakhimov Square. This was reported by the Center for journalist investigations.

According to Kozyreva, they were televising live from a rally on Nakhimov Square when some of rally participants, mostly elderly people, started to attack them and accuse them of a distorted presentation of the events in Crimea. When the police took them to Leninsky rayon police department the aggressive elderly women followed them there and continued their verbal attacks.

The police interrogated them about their activities and whether they had any connection to extremism.

In an hour the crew was released, their equipment and phones intact and not confiscated from them.
