In Obukhov, a deputy of the district council obstructed journalistic activity. Investigators of the Obukhov Police Department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 171 ("Obstruction of the Legal Professional Activity of Journalists") of the Criminal Code, as it was reported on the website of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region.

The incident occurred on February 25 near the premises of the Obukhov Court. According to the the journalist, he had addressed question to an official when performing the editorial task. Instead, the functionary snatched the telephone out of the journalist’s hands and demanded to delete the video he filmed.

Later, the deputy returned the phone to the journalist, but he switched off the video recording.

The police questioned the eye-witnesses of the incident, investigation is underway.
