On May 1 in Mykolaiv, a group of people who participated in pro-Russian rally which was held on Lenin Square, attacked the filming crew of the TV channel STB and was impeding their work.
As the STB journalist Iryna Peresvet told to IMI, she was recording the interview with rally participants. At this time, the crowd turned at them, started swearing, and made the further work impossible. The people were very aggressive, hysterical, believing the journalists to be enemies, but police officers saved the crew from violence, leading them away from the crowd.
