In Kovel, supermarket security guards were not allowing journalist to record. Case opened based on article 171

In Kovel, Volynska oblast, during the preparation of the material in the supermarket, security guards were impeding the work of journalist of a printed media outlet. Based on this fact, the investigators started a criminal investigation based on p. 2,  article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Obstruction to lawful professional activities of journalists"). This was reported at the webpage of the Chief Administration of National Police in Volynska oblast. The incident took place on November 2. As the journalist was preparing material in one of the supermarkets at Nezalezhnosti street in Kovel, he was approached by security guards who were forbidding the correspondent to conduct video recording. Police is now investigating the details of the incident.
