On June 2, the cable operator LLC “TV and Radio Company Miske Budinytstvo” was forced to switch off four Ukrainian TV channels in Donetsk under the order of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic. These channels are Channel 5, the First National TV channel, ‘Rada’, and ‘Donbas’.
Other cable TV operators also switched off several Ukrainian channels. Some explain it by maintenance works, some by temporary technical difficulties.
On June 2, in Makiyivka (Donetska oblast) on demand of representatives of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic Channel 5, the First National TV channel, “Rada” and “Donbass”.
