In Cherkasy, photoreporter was forbidden to make photos in office of territorial voting committee

11.06.2014, 17:13

On June 2, in Cherkasy police officers and a member of the territorial voting committee forbade the photoreporter of the newspaper “Vechirni Cherkasy” Ihor Yefimov to make photos in the building of the city executive committee where the voting committee was stationed. Yefimov went there on an editorial assignment, showed his ID and started to make photos, but a man told him to stop. The police officers on site did not respond to the confrontation and also told the reporter not to film them.
