IMI & partners hold seminar “Protection of professional activity of journalists and freedom of speech in Ukraine: countering impunity”

Institute of Mass Information in partnership with the Council of Europe and other partners are holding a training seminar "Protection of professional activity of journalists and freedom of speech in Ukraine: countering impunity" during April 3-4, 2017.

The seminar involved about 200 police officers (patrol police, investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and prosecutors from all regions of Ukraine).

Among the speakers - executive director of NGO "Institute of Mass Information" Oksana Romaniuk, Head of the Legal Department of NGO "Institute of Mass Information" Roman Holovenko, Head of Division at the Department for the Execution of Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights Pavlo Pushkar and others.

The partners of the event are the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, National Academy of Internal Affairs, the National Police of Ukraine.
