The Institute of Mass Information (IMI) is launching a series of tactical medicine classes for media professionals who are not war reporters but work in cities and regions constantly targeted in air strikes.
The training primarily aims to build Ukrainian journalists’ capability to work as safely as possible and to teach them how to help themselves and others amid continuous shelling. Participants will gain practical skills in first aid and tactical medicine which will help them to act right instead of freezing up in an emergency.
The training will be given by experienced instructors. The bulk of the course will be taken up by practical exercises: participants will rehearse each skill rather than only listening to the theory.
Location: Kyiv
