IMI launches monthly opinion poll about real life and work of journalists

14.05.2020, 15:01

The "Institute of Mass Information" NGO launches monthly opinion poll of media men and women about the realities of their lives and work in Ukraine.

In the context surrounding the coronavirus pandemic (strain COVID-19) in Ukraine and in the world, life and work of journalists and mass media is being constantly in change. Due to lockdown, we have lost the advantage of public events, personal communication and constant exchange of information. That is why IMI launches regular surveys of media professionals about the realities of their lives and work in Ukraine.

The purpose of the surveys is to better understand all the nuances and realities of the work of media professionals in Ukraine amid coronavirus crisis and to develop solutions that can help journalists. The results of the survey will be published in form of anonymous summing up. This data will also be used to set up international programs for support of journalists in Ukraine.

"We will conduct a monthly survey to keep abreast of the needs of journalists and the media and to find out how to support them," IMI media expert Iryna Zemlyana said.

The first survey concerns the work of journalists during the period of easing the quarantine related to the coronavirus pandemic in Ukraine and in the world. To complete the survey, fill out the FORM .
