IMI invites to attend workshop on Safety of Journalists

On March 17 at 16:00 in the framework of the School of Safety for Journalists IMI will hold a second workshop "Assessment and planning of risks in the work of journalists."

During the webinar, the participants will learn and develop different methods for assessing risks and preventing them to happen in the work of journalists, learn the basic documents for working in high-risk сontext, analyze personal and collective risks and methods for minimizing them.

The webinar will be useful for journalists who have never made a risk assessment, who are used to work over complex topics, who face violations of their rights and do not feel safe. The webinar will identify some emergencies that can await the journalists, dissect some real cases that the journalists had faced intheir activity and provide professional safety advice.

The trainer : Iryna Zemlyana, media expert and IMI security trainer.

Registered participants will receive a link to the Zoom conference and training hand-outs. 

The duration of the webinar is one hour, and will be followed with "questions and answers" part.
