Yevenko added that the house currently has no power, is uninhabitable, and may be demolished.

“After the first air alert went off, we left the parking lot, which was also affected. This is the parking lot where Taras Topolya of the band Antytila lives. After the all-clear signal we returned home and were going to sleep when another alert went off again,” the journalist said.

He added that there were reports of ballistic missiles incoming. However, it was unclear whether they should run back out or not, so he and his family stayed in the hallway.

“We sat there, monitoring Telegram, then heard a whistle — and everything is foggy after that. My home is not completely destroyed, there are some issues, but overall it is alright. However, there is no electricity currently, which they do not plan to restore due to major problems, so the house is unfit for living at the moment,” the journalist explained.

He noted that his parents' windows faced the side where the missile hit: "Everything is bad there, unfortunately. The equipment was with me, I always carry it with me and I also took it to the hallway."

As reported earlier, the Russian missile strike on Kyiv in the early hours of June 23 damaged the apartment of Novynarnia journalist, filmmaker, and documentarist Maryna Tkachuk, as well as that of the singer Taras Topolya.

The June 23 missile strike also completely destroyed a lyceum in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi (Odesa oblast), killing two employees.

Serhiy Movchan, the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting representative in Kherson oblast, also reported damage to his house on June 23.
