Hotel in Truskavets sues local journalists over article about hidden wages

The LLC «Rikos Prykarpattia» filed a lawsuit against the media outlet «Truskavetsky Visnyk»’s editor-in-chief Volodymyr Kliuchak and journalist Ihor Kostyk over an article about this company and demanded to fine them for damage to its reputation. This was reported by «Zaxid.net».

The article in question discussed the numerous violations in the company, especially in regards of its employees’ rights.

The journalists believe the lawsuit to be politically motivated and intended to neutralize them – taking into account the ties between the company owners and MP Yefremov.  

The journalists challenged the lawsuit, so the case hearing is now postponed.
