Hersonskiye Vesti attacked by hackers
On April 2, 2013, Hersonskiye Vesti news website suffered a hacker attack. Web-site chief editor Igor Trubayev told this to IMI. "The attack began the day before yesterday (April 2 - Ed.), at 23.00, and lasted during the whole day (April 3 - Ed.). A series of attacks: up to 10 000 queries per second "- Trubayev said.
He also said that, on the eve of DDoS-attacks, the edition posted critical materials about the head of Kherson Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak and Udar party MP Andriy Putilov. In particular, the article of March 29 was titled "Mykola Kostyak splitting the Party of Regions?" And an article on April 2 was about Putilov - "Andriy Putilov prevents to increase rents for people’s allotments."
Currently, the attack repulsed and the news edition already works as usual, Trubayev reported.
