Family of WIA journalist Viktor Ozhohin needs help
The family of Dnipro journalist, former member of the Commission on Journalistic Ethics, deputy company commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Viktor Ozhohin, who has been wounded on the front line, needs financial aid, Detector Media reports.
Viktor Ozhohin was severely wounded during the fighting for Lyman, Donetsk oblast. He is currently in a hospital in Dnipro.

Viktor Ozhohin graduated from the Journalism Faculty of Kyiv State University. He has been working as a journalist since 1984. He started off on the state regional television in Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro), later became the deputy director general. In 2009–2010, he headed the Dnipropetrovsk regional state TV and radio company. In 2014, he went to the front line as a volunteer, commanded the "journalist" platoon of the "Dnipro-1" battalion of the National Guard, defended Mariupol and Luhansk oblast. In 2016, he returned from the front line and went back to working on TV as a senior editor. He was a member of the Commission on Journalistic Ethics. In 2022, Viktor Ozhohin went to defend Ukraine in the ranks of the National Guard again.
