Facebook hides all posts by a journalist without warning after she shared a photo from Dnipro
On January 14, Facebook hid all posts by Yulia Mashuta, journalist and coordinator of the "Sviy Dim" platform (which is collecting evidence of Russia's crimes), without warning. Yuliya Mashuta informed an IMI representative about this.
Mashuta explained that the posts disappeared after she shared a post with photos of the Dnipro high-rise building which was hit by a rocket on the "Sviy Dim" platform.
The journalist noted that she contacted the support service twice, but received no answer. "Nothing. No warning. And the thing is – new posts don't appear in the profile, either," said Yulia Mashuta.
She noticed that in her page's settings, the posts are marked as public.
On the morning of January 18, Yulia Mashuta reported that the posts on her page were visible again.
As IMI reported, "Sviy Dim" is collecting testimonies by those who lost their homes due to the Russian aggression. The platform was created by the Media Growth Agency "Abo".
