Viktoria Bobrova, Odesa-born press officer with the Mountain Assault Brigade No. 10 “Edelweiss”, died in the line of duty on 23 April 2026. Her death was reported by the brigade’s former chief of communications Bohdan Fliunt, the Kyslytsia Lyceum, which she graduated, and 2+2 TV.
Bohdan Fliunt said in a comment to the Institute of Mass Information’s regional representative that Lieutenant Viktoria Bobrova (call sign Flower) had been assigned the unit’s chief of communications shortly before, following his own wounding in February; Fliunt had transferred to another unit after recovery.
Fliunt said that the press officer had died in Kharkiv while performing her duties in a combat mission zone.

The servicewoman’s death was also confirmed by the Kyslytia Lyceum of the Safyanivka Village Council of the Odesa oblast, where she had studied.
“Viktoria was a bright, sincere, and extremely strong person. In peacetime life, she loved to sing, worked in film and television production, was a casting director for art projects and a line producer of documentaries. She could see the beauty in details and convey stories through the frame,” the Lyceum said in a statement.
Before enlisting, Viktoria had worked as a casting director for the 2+2 TV shows “One Family. The Wedding”, “The Occupied”, “Friends”, and “The Cold”.
According to the Institute of Mass Information, Viktoria Bobrova is the 130th media worker to die in the course of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
