Donetchyna: Editor-in-chief accused for separatist articles

UNN reports about man who wrote separartist articles while holding a position of editor-in-chief of "Druzhkivsky robochy" newspaper during  April-June 2014. The newspaper comes out under public utility "Media-center" of Druzhkivka city council. UNN referring to the press service of the Prosecutor's office in Donetsk region. 

According to the press service, the man accused in posting the materials of propaganda-agitation nature in one of the newspaper issue. The article called for a referendum in Donetsk region aiming the recognition of "Donetsk People's Republic".  It was addressed and accessible to all readers of "Druzhkivsky robochy"  newspaper.

"A man charged with ch. 2, Art. 110 (encroachment on territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine combined with inciting ethnic or religious enmity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine", - statement says.

The press service noted that Prosecutor's office in Donetsk region came to court with a request to hold a special (in absentia) trial investigation against the former chief editor of the newspaper "Druzhkivsky robochy". The office came with this request as the man is hiding from investigators outside Ukraine.
