Death of military journalist Dmytro Labutkin confirmed

Death of the journalist who worked for the TV and Radio Company of the Ministry of Defense, “Bryz”, captain lieutenant Dmytro Labutkin was confirmed. His body was identified in Dnipropetrovsk morgue. This information was published on the website of the Ministry of Defense “Fleet of Ukraine”.

“Officer, patriot, true citizen of his country, he died during the battle in Debaltsevo,” the editor of the section on social policy of the newspaper “Fleet of Ukraine” Vitaliy Panchyshyn said.

Before, as IMI informed, Dmytro Labutkin went missing on February 16 near Debaltsevo (Donetska oblast).

Unidentified individuals sent to Labutkin's wife a shocking video showing his documents and train ticket, along with bodies of the killed Ukrainian military.

Dmytro served as a reporter at the military TV "Briz" in Sevastopol. During the occupation of Crimea, he did not betray Ukraine and moved to Odesa together with his family.
