Crimean radio station bans songs of Ruslana, Jamala, VV

In the occupied Crimea, at the local radio station “More” ("Sea"), the songs of Ukrainian singers Ruslana and Jamala and the rock band “Vopli Vidopliasova” have been banned. Espreso.TV reports this, with reference to opendemocracy.
The radio station producer Anastasia Sylina says that, in spite of the audience request, the editor-in- chief does not allow the songs of certain Ukrainian singers to be aired. Most of the bans are explained by the fact that the singers in question supported the Maidan in 2013.
“More” is a government-owned radio station and the only musical radio station with the editorial office at the peninsula.
